I have 2 beautiful jet black NEW-in-box 9-in-1 media-card reader/writer combo... my lazy unemployed art-school boyfriend "can't find the time" to put them in our computers...

some things I want:

unopened queen-size fitted sheets or sheet set (maybe you got as a gift)
domestic-kitcheny Woots (I do have a vacuum)
6-volt universal AC adapter (specify amperage)
circular knitting needles (the longer the better)
audio language learning programs (Windows)
Classical CDs (NO SONY unless they are at least a couple years old)
sock yarn (not knitted up into socks)
fabric yardage (especially quilting fabric)
etc.

looking at that list, I feel the need to assure you I am actually not your seventy-year-old grandmother... lol

I'll check the forum every couple days... thanks!

Welcome speedwell! Thanks for definately broadening the scope of the usual trades. It's worth asking...you never know what people (or what their grandmothers) have tucked away...

I desperatly need one of those. My wife quilts so I'm sure she's got some yardage of fabric laying around, that might be a possibility. She has some knitting needles and yarn too, not sure about the specifics. your list ended with etc. Does this imply that you're open to suggestions for trades? I'll do whatever it takes to get one of the Soyo's, it's exactly what I need. I do have a USB 2.0 SanDisk MemoryStick reader. I ordered a CF reader off ebay and got this instead. Works fine, only problem is that I don't use MemoryStick very often.

I'll PM you my e-mail address as soon as I figure out how. (UPDATE: PM sent, no response in 2 days. Please PM me here; your e-mail may have fallen into a filter.)

"etc." meant unspecified craft, sewing or needlework supplies (feeding my other addiction!!)... but ASK YOUR WIFE PLEASE... I can imagine what I'd do if my guy gave away parts of my stash without asking. No, I take that back, I can't imagine it at all. Wink

My guy used one tonight; apparently they are not difficult to use even if you don't install them internally. The "guts" are a perfectly self-contained portable machine as is. About the size of a pocket calculator, and beige. You would not need to permanently install the card reader in your computer.

The other is still new in box.

One or both still available, but since he tried one out tonight I wanted to let y'all know.
