working hard for the last 3 weeks..and still need much more to finish what I've just started.

1.5 will be out..let's say..in few months

-almost finished keygeneration mechanism...rsa,crypto,big numbers code (expressor's side..stub also);keys will consist in a large string to be stored by the protected app;
-working on api implementation...11 functions till now;
-done expiration class..to handle time/runs/date expiration;
-to do:
- crypt code for locked functions ..wich will be unlocked in regged version;
- crypt/protect stub code;
- help file...api doc etc.

That's surely interesting. eXPressor becomes not only the PE-packer but also some kind of protector and tries to be another competitor of PECompact. Any steps regarding compression ratio improvement?

Well about compression...v1.3 is the one on which the compression has reach the maximum level; to compress better another algo is needed; since the stub has a size limit which cannot be decreased..~3kb it's hard to find a way to decrease the final size; some tricks can be used but finally this should gives few more bytes of compression..wich is the difference between packers using the same comp algo;

When it is to say about protection, I'm afraid PEC it's not a competitor..from what I know pec protection is almost = 0 ;protectors are asprotect armadillo acprotect etc.

How's going? Will it be just licensing software or it will have anti-debug layer of code?

Currently I've stopped the developement of eXPressor due to some other important things in my life.

It will have also anticracking tricks, not only licensing.

I wait for the summer to pass, it isn't a good coding period

I'm hard coding & debugging for the last few weeks and I hope that in this session I'll finish what I want for the first version of the protector which will pe included in eXPressor 1.5
