Our excellent hosts, bravenet, have completely wiped out the News Archives or MOK! I'm not kidding, it's all gone!
I've sent in an enquiry, but I doubt it can be restored.
I even tried to edit the page so I could inform everyone of what happened, but it just goes blank. This is, of course, extremely frustrating.

Are other forums/boards at risk too ?

It's recovered. I have no idea what happened, but it seems to be back. Still, I don't know if it still has issues.

Nope, and now it's back. It must have something to do with my computer, because it showed at school. I made sure to copy all the HTML coding then, in case it completely disappears. This is frustrating to say the least. Confused

Shoot this is terrible!
I have lost my backup, and bravenet says they can't bring back the page! That means all the news was lost.
Oh... well I suppose I will have to start to rebuild. I do have a very old version of the news, but it goes only to July. At least it's something.

There are a few others who have had the same thing. I always try to be understanding, but another person I talked to got her whole site back to normal.
They apologized, and I thanked them for their work on fixing the problem.

That's good that it was resolved in quite a short time... I have no idea how it would feel to suddenly lose tons of work.
